A few weeks ago Rent&use would have saved me some inconvenience.
It turned out that I were in Switzerland and called me from the comune where I was processing my Italian citizenship to tell me everything was ready and I needed to go to sign. To not lose time on the same day I took the train. I'm not good at making bags and less when I have to do it in a hurry. That was a Thursday, and my thought was, “ok I go sign and during the weekend I go back to Switzerland”, so I made my bag for 2 days. In fact, I had to wait 7 days and going back didn't have much sense, it was convenient to wait. So I was 7 days using and cleaning clothes and not to mention as always happens in these cases, one day was cold, the other hot and obviously, it also rained. Although I was close to travelling without my computer, of luck my girlfriend said to me “get the laptop look if you have to stay more days”, for luck I listened to her otherwise I would have been cursing all those days. In the end, it wasn't a catastrophe either and all this story is to tell that with a cheaper, simplest and more economical rental system in the extreme case that I would have to stay more days and without a computer, quietly I could have rented whole the stuff necessaries and then return before leaving. Perhaps it's because I´m thinking all the time about renting and rent&use but every day I am presented with situations in which buying loses sense.
